Another great National Vegetable EXPO was held at Werribee on the 2nd & 3rd May. Congratulations to everyone involved for making this event such a great success. International, Interstate and Victorian visitors were presented with some of the best the vegetable industry has to offer. With over 50 exhibitors and 11 Seed Companies showing their wares.
VGA-Vic President David Wallace welcomed Neale Burgess MP, Tim Pallas MP and Heather Marcus Mayor Wyndham City Council, who toured the EXPO site on Friday.
Winners of the Best Growing Plot were Terranova Seeds; however the decision this year wasn’t an easy one for the Judges. A close runner–up was Lefroy Valley with special mention given to WHS.
The EXPO Committee, especially stalwarts Les Giroud and David Milburn, are acknowledged for the time and effort they put into making this event so successful.
