The farm walk is hosted by Bulmer Farms and run by AHR and Stuart Grigg Ag-Hort Consulting. The demonstration site challenges the normal production practices of intensive soil cultivation in vegetable crops.
You will see the results of ten months of minimum and reduced till practices which include the use of permanent beds, cover crops, reduced tillage machinery and drip irrigation. The farm walk will cover the challenges of changing soil management practices as well as the soil and environmental benefits.
