VGA Vic has worked closely with GOTAFE to tailor two OH&S courses suited to the vegetable industry.
Compliance training for the OH&S Act:
This course takes employees through their OHS duties and responsibilities in the workplace. The course is a half day course and can be run in the workplace.
The course costs $250.00 per person
VGA Vic can organise the training so that not all workers need to be away from work at once.
The Health and Safety Representatives Course
This course is designed for Business Managers and Supervisors.
The course is WorkSafe approved and involves one day a week over five weeks (5 day total). The course provides an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of employers and Employees under the OHS Act and costs $650.00.
