We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Orr as our new Executive Officer. Ken has extensive experience with production horticulture and the sales & marketing of fertilizer and compost products. Many will remember Ken as our Industry Development Officer in 2009-10.
Ken is tasked with managing all our Associations funded projects as well as representing the Association at industry meetings, conferences and similar functions. Ken will also maintain a high level of communication with VGA Members, State Government Agencies, AUSVEG, Industry Associates and key stakeholders on all issues affecting the viability and operation of the vegetable industry.
Kens’ appointment follows the resignation of Helena Whitman. The VGA Executive Committee wishes Helena a safe trip to Western Australia and recognises her valued counsel and involvement in our industry, firstly as Industry Development Officer and then Executive Manager of VGA Victoria.
