We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Helena Whitman as the new Vegetable Industry Development Officer for Western Victoria. Helena is well known to Vegetable growers through her dedicated work for growers in projects including
Helena also brings a wealth of experience in executive management from her earlier rolls with the WA Farmers Federation, as well as the WA and SA Fruit Growers Associations. Helena replaces Ken Orr, who accepted a full time position with BASF/COMPO as their Specialist Fertiliser Development Manager for Horticulture. Helena joins Slobodan Vujovic in providing vegetable growers with a range of services through the Victorian State Governments ‘Better Services to Farmers’ initiative. This initiative provides useful information and assistance to farmers through their industry associations. Helena is based at Romsey and will support growers to the west of Melbourne including Werribee, Geelong, Bacchus Marsh, Keilor and Robinvale. Welcome aboard Helena ! |
