VGA Victoria attended the annual Harvest Picnic Day at Werribee Mansion last month to support the marketing team from the Melbourne Market Authority (MMA). The MMA promotional team of Tiesha Dower and Carolyn Creed prepared samples of fresh fruit and vegetables and provided advice and suggestions on the selection and preparation of different fruits and vegetables.
President David Wallace, Past President Luis Gazzola and Tony Imeson assisted with the promotion of fresh produce. This was a very productive day with a large crowd of visitors in attendance and a great opportunity to promote vegetables as an exciting and healthy food choice.
