Expo a Winner

The National Vegetable Expo has again proved to be a winner with excellent support from Growers and Industry Suppliers.

The Expo is recognised for matching genuine buyers with exhibitors able to provide innovative solutions to the needs of vegetable growers.

The weather proved kind and visitors were able to compare displays and discuss their needs with exhibitors.

All fourteen vegetable seed plots were planted with the latest vegetable varieties. Another fifty-nine businesses exhibited their products and services to around one thousand visitors at the two day event.

Special invited guests included State MP for Tarneit Tim Pallas, Wyndham Mayor John Menegazzo, and Melbourne Market Authority Chairman Neil Lowe and CEO Allan Crosthwaite.

Best seed plot award was presented to South Pacific Seeds and the best industry display was awarded to GT Tractors for their innovative approach to the vegetable industry machinery and equipment.
